Narelle Green

Veterinary Nurse and Trainer & Assessor

Narelle qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1988. Her roles in the Veterinary industry have been varied-from Kennel Hand through to Practice Manager. She worked in the UK as a Dental Veterinary nurse for a Specialist Veterinary Dentist where she organised dental workshops for veterinarians in various cities in the UK.

In Western Australia, she has resided and worked in country town clinics as well as metropolitan practices, mainly with small animals. Her duties have ranged from general nursing through to running puppy preschool programs, client education seminars and delivering primary school incursions.

Narelle’s is a Trainer and Assessor, so you will find her online responding to the many student queries we receive as well as helping out with practical sessions and assessments on campus. You will also often find her two dogs on-campus helping with student assessments, as they are well trained at staying still and teaching our veterinary nursing students key skills such as bandaging.

Narelle is passionate about mentoring students and helping set them up for a long, satisfying career in the veterinary industry. She loves the enthusiasm they have for learning about animal care, as it is a constant reminder as to why she loves this industry herself! Her favourite thing in the world is a puppy kiss! When not at work, Narelle loves to travel and see new things and places as well as reading and bird watching.

Narelle’s Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
