During this course, you will be exposed to a variety of hands on practical training and theory based lessons. Here’s a quick overview of the course.
Our intensive training structure allows you to complete all aspects of the course within 14 weeks. You will commit to two days a week during this period to undertake class and practical training.

As part of your practical training, you will attend the Cat Haven or Greyhounds as Pets (GAP) kennel facility one day per week. You will be supervised by AVT Trainer and Assessors when on-site.
Just bring your passion for animal welfare, attend all training days, be at least 18 years of age, be physically capable of handling and restraining animals, standing on your feet for extended periods of time and be able to lift up to 10kg. To read the course outline, click 'Get More Info' below.
