Here’s an overview of the course:
This blended course is the perfect mix of online and practical training in a supportive learning environment. You will participate in online learning from home, fortnightly Zoom (virtual) training sessions and 2 x 4 day compulsory practical workshops based in Perth, WA.
Our philosophy incorporates modern, positive-reinforcement based and force-free animal training, perfectly combined with clear and compassionate training for the human half! Led by industry experts Laura Ryder and Fiona Cowie, along with guest presentations by leading international experts.
Our qualified Trainers and Assessors will provide practical hands-on training in group and one-one sessions during our intensive workshops. To get the most out of your training, you will be asked to bring your own social dog who is capable of lots of training.
Students will need to hold the HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (to be completed by first practical workshop). To read the course outline, click 'View our Course Page' below.
Our Enrolment Officers are available to answer any questions you have. Request a call from one of our friendly team members and you will get the answers you need without any obligation.
